Join the Müllers Team.

As Heritage Schools Worker you will develop creative ways of telling the amazing story of George Müller and his 10,000 orphans to inspire the next generation of the significance of faith. Using your experience in the education sector, you will build on existing school relationships as well as develop new ones to develop curriculum compliant lessons that will enrich the history, culture, and faith of staff and pupils alike, pointing them not just to a story of pioneering social change, but to the God who made it possible.

Hours: 2.5 days per week

Salary: £24k - £28k pro rata

Children’s Outreach Worker

Children’s Pastor

The role involves recruiting and leading a team of volunteers to work with the children aged 0-11 years and their families in Highgrove Church and our surrounding community near to Sea Mills in Bristol.

Children’s and Community Worker - Branch Community Church

You will be responsible for working with the Branch Leadership team to lead and coordinate our children’s provision, both on a Sunday and during the week. We welcome lots of families and children to our Sunday Services and have children’s provision in place. This role would encompass the oversight and coordination of our established children’s groups and also leading the development and the growth of additional provision. This role would also include the broadening of our knowledge and support for SEN and trauma affected children. As our community work and initiatives continue to thrive, you would join in the amazing work already taking place and also undertake the exciting development of further community connection and networking.

Hours: 2 days per week

Salary: £25,570 - £28,000 pro rata

Children and Families Worker

As our new Children & Families Worker you will play a key role in and developing ministry for children aged 0-11. Helping develop more inspiring, creative, and intentionally engaging activities you offer provision for children during our main Sunday morning gatherings. In addition, we are looking to support parents in and out of church in their role of raising children in the Christian faith and explore opportunities for outreach and mission within our local community.

Ideally, we are looking for someone full-time, but we are open to discussing part-time and flexible options with the right candidate!

Youth Worker

Christ Church Downend is a growing evangelical Anglican church on the outskirts of Bristol. Our vision is drawn from John 10:10 with its emphasis on life in all it’s fulness, and our current aspirations are to go deeper with God, reach wider into the community and grow younger through intentional investment in our youth, children’s and families’ ministries. We are seeking to employ a part time youth worker (16-20 hours per week) to help grow our youth ministry, further developing the existing provision, and engaging more with unchurched young people through outreach and investment in the local secondary school. This is a key part of Christ Church’s stated aspiration to ‘Grow Younger’.

Hours: 16-20 hours per week

Salary: From £12.21 per hour, with a higher rate paid to a more experienced professional
