CHURCH PARTNERSHIPSExists to glorify God by providing help for those with spiritual and social needs. This is done in accordance with the Christian principle affirmed by George Müller that ‘the provision comes by prayer and faith without anyone being asked, whereby it might be seen that God is faithful still and hears prayer still’.
INTRODUCTIONAnother year has passed us all by but He is still the same God yesterday, today andtomorrow. It is again my privilege to introduce to you all news about the part of the Partnership work that I oversee. First of all I would like to welcome Oldbury Court Church who meet in Fishponds. Oldbury Court is served by Neil and Gail Aplin and has the vision to affect the area around them with God’s faithful and all encompassing love. May God bring to fruition that vision.
This passed year has seen many answers to prayer.
We have been praying for mature Christians to join some of our smaller Churches and this is happening. We have seen those in Church partnerships move into schools to take RE and to become School governors. We have been encouraged to see those in the local Church take responsibility in Leadership and encouraging those as yet unsaved in our communities and we have seen those won for Christ; one person being in his nineties at a Church in KnowleWest in Bristol. We have seen drop-in facilities and SundaySchools started in the past year.

In a number of Churches, God is widening the vision of His work and workers are being led in
newer and fresherways as God’s Holy Spirit moves on. We have seen two of our Partner Churches feel moved to support other Churches abroad one in Cuba and one in Sri Lanka respectively.
I have once again been so encouraged as I have travelled from place to place to see God’s work in action in such a diverse number of situations and to support, encourage, and challenge both leaders and workers in the past year.
I count it as a real honour to support these men and women in their work for the Living God, showing God’s love to families, young people and children, in their homes, in schools and through good quality Christian youth provision. But please remember we could not do any of it without your faithful prayer support some over many many years.
Thank you all and may you be blessed as you read the accounts of those who write here and know that Jesus is alive and very much risen indeed!
